Donald Wright, Sr.

Donald G. “Donnie” Wright, Sr., 74, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015. He was born September 29, 1940 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Harold Richard Wright, Sr. and Florence Fails Wright. He was a member of Banquete United Methodist Church and was Vice President of Wright Materials, Inc. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sandra Wright of Corpus Christi, Texas; his son, Donald Gene Wright, Jr. (Lauri) of Robstown, Texas; his daughter, Jana Lynne Wright (Jimmy) of Calallen, Texas; his brother, Harold Richard Wright, Jr. (Luella) of Robstown, Texas; his grandsons, Kalen Brady Hammack of Austin, Justin Richard Wright of New York City, New York, Benjamin Michael Wright of Plano, Texas and Donald Gene “Buddy” Wright, III of Corpus Christi, Texas; and a large extended family. Visitation will be from 6 P.M until 8 P.M. Friday, September 25, 2015 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with The Rev. Kathey Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Robstown Memorial Park.
