Donald Lamkin

Donald Ray Lamkin, age 70, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away December 18, 2011. He was born February 22, 1941 in El Campo, Texas to Murray and Alma Lamkin. Donald was preceded in death by parents and is survived by his wife, Sara Lamkin of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughters, Melinda (Allyn) Black of Ft. Myers, Florida, Laura (Wayne) Yates of Waller, Texas; son, Jeff (Julie) Lamkin of Corpus Christi, Texas; sister, Dolores Schroeder of Portland, Texas; brother, Kenneth (Dyanne) Lamkin of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Linzy Black, Kyle Black, Corey Black, Shelby Yates, Emily Yates, Ethan Yates, Jessica Lamkin, Justin Lamkin. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery.
