David Norvell

David Norvell, 61, passed away on August 22, 2014 surrounded by the ones he loved the most. David was born July 8, 1953. He proudly served our country for 7 years. After his military service he settled in Corpus Christi to work for Flint Hills Resources and retired after 31 years. David then moved with his wife, Linnie to London, Texas to enjoy his retirement. He was a huge fan of racing, loved hunting and fishing. David loved aviation and working on anything he could get his hands on. He was extremely smart and could work on anything. David is preceded in death by his parents Marcus and Patricia Norvell of Houston, Tx. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Linnie Norvell of London, Tx. His sons, Dwayne (Shawna) Norvell, Danny Norvell of Corpus Christi, Tx. and Jamie Norvell of Watertown, South Dakota. Danny (Sharlene) Tate, and Crystal (Larry) Young of Corpus Christi, TX. His grandchildren, Landon and Braylon Norvell, Tanner, Colby, and Conner Tate, and Lexi Young all of Corpus Christi, TX. His siblings, Mark (Kathy) Norvell of Barksdale, TX. Cindy (Chris) Simon of Houston, Tim Norvell and George (Julie) Norvell of Houston, TX. He also had several nephews and nieces. David was loved by many and will remain in our Hearts forever. Pallbearers will be Danny Tate, Larry Young, Shawn Bradshaw, Justin Bradshaw, Cody Bradshaw and David Evans. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the services. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 9:30 A.M. at the Sawyer-George Funeral Chapel.
