David Mcswain

David Woodrow McSwain, age 93, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away August 19, 2011. He was born April 3, 1918 in Altus, Arkansas. For love of the United States, he voluntarily served his country during WW II in the European Theater receiving many medals and honors. He was preceded in death by parents, Walter and Denia McSwain, his wife, Ura McSwain, children, David McSwain and Raenel Diegel, grandchildren, Jerry Diegel, III and Jody Diegel, two brothers, Walter and Willard McSwain, and two sisters, Inez Reece and Ima Gene Ingraham. He is survived by his grandchildren, Jennifer and James Byerly, James and Sherry Diegel, David and Tom McSwain; twelve great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren and four nieces. Visitation with the family will be on Monday August 22, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be private.
