Damond Bramblett, 93, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012. He was born April 14, 1919 in Whitney, Texas to Nodie and Elsie Underwood Bramblett. Mr. Bramblett was a welder and a member of Tuloso-Midway Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, one brother, his wife, Mary Lee Bramblett and a grandson, Travis Blackmon. He is survived by his son, Darrell Bramblett of Pflugerville, Texas; his daughter, Carolyn (Perry) Blackmon of Corpus Christi, Texas; 6 grandchildren, David, Jimmy, Cody and April Blackmon, Jeremy and Corey Bramblett; 7 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; one brother, Cotton Bramblett of Corpus Christi, Texas; two sisters, Del Khoury of Corpus Christi, Texas and Dorothy Brou of Louisiana; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2 P.M. until 6 P.M. with the family present from 4 P.M. until 6 P.M. Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 9:30 A.M. Monday, November 12, 2012 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John McAllister officiating. Burial will follow in the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
