It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daina Rytter, beloved wife, mother, and nana, who went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2024. She passed away suddenly while fighting her hardest battle against cancer. She had a life full of love and laughter.

Daina was born December 14, 1967 to Stanley Reiman and Frances Kay Merritt Reiman in Corpus Christi, Texas. Daina grew up in the Corpus Christi area of South Texas and graduated from Tuloso-Midway I.S.D. John and Daina enjoyed 26 years of marriage with lots of adventure and love. Daina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and will be missed deeply. Daina loved others deeply and her grandson, Tanner, was her entire world. There was always an atmosphere of laughter, love, chicken chasing and cow shooing out at the ranch. She and John built a beautiful home that their grandsons loved dearly.

Daina is survived by her loving family, including her husband of 26 years John Witte, her daughters, Stephanie (Justin) Dunn, Kimberly Rytter, and son, Steven (Mikenzi) Rytter. She was the adoring grandmother to Tanner & Jace Dunn, and soon-to-be granddaughter Georgia Jo Rytter. Father, Stanley Reiman; Sisters, Tammy (Wayne) Melton and Kerry (Michael) Berry and Brother, Trey (Alisa) Reiman. She is also survived by the father of her children, Jeff (Terrie) Rytter.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Kay Reiman.
