Clinton Wostal

Clinton Joe Wostal, 73, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011. He was born November 9, 1938 in Orange Grove, Texas to Felix and Hazel Thompson Wostal. He retired from CP&L after 38 years of service, was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and had been a Boy Scout Leader. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Jimmy Lee Milner. He is survived by his wife, Joy Netek Wostal; his son, C. J. Wostal; his daughter, Vicki Wostal; his granddaughter, Caitlyn; his step-children, Sandra Netek (Charlie) Goulette, Donna Netek Tischler, Bruce (Donna) Netek and Richard (Carol) Netek; his sisters, Betty Milner, Joyce (Ralph) Dickey and Martha (Don) McCloskey; numerous step-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. The Rosary will be recited at 7 P.M. Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 P.M. Thursday, November 17, 2011 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Orange Grove with Rev. Msgr. Michael Howell as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John of the Cross Catholic Cemetery in Orange Grove.
