Clifton Ray “Tudor” Arnold, 68, of Robstown, TX passed away on December 3, 2021. He was born in Robstown, TX to Melvin and Evelyn Arnold on August 29, 1953. He graduated from Robstown High School and was a member of the Class of 1972. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Tommie Sue Arnold, who was the true love of his life. Tudor and Tommie Sue were inseparable, soul mates, and the best of friends. He is also survived by his children, Jennifer (Kevin) Mitchell, Robert (Kristen) Arnold, and Mallory (Casey) Caraway; his grandchildren, Blake and Clay Mitchell, Kenzie and Walker Arnold, and Kadence Caraway; sister, Donna Arnold; brother, Garland “Bubba” (Norma) Arnold; two nephews and a niece; with special emphasis on cousins, Ken Griffin and Dean Bierstedt who he said were like brothers to him. They shared so many life events and hilarious stories that have been told and re-told over the years.
Tudor made many life-long friends through school, work, and recreational activities. He was afforded the opportunity to truly live life to the fullest, always surrounded by family and friends, with special acknowledgement of lifelong friends Jerry Foster and Lee Cooke. They were always there for him through thick and thin. No matter where Tudor was, he was the life of the party. He could hold a conversation with anyone. He was an amazing storyteller and the stories got better the later the night went on. Everyone was always invited to hunt at Tudor’s during dove season and hang out and have a heck of a time all day and night. He was well known for always having a barbecue pit lit and some cold beverages, with an open-door policy for anyone to join him.
Tudor beamed with pride when speaking of his children and grandchildren. They are truly his legacy. To say that he will be missed by many would be an understatement.
