Clayton Mccain

Clayton Robert McCain, age 94, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away March 10, 2013. He was born March 23, 1918 in Falls County, Texas to Charles Robert and Willie Ethel McCain. Mr. McCain served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of WW II. He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Ben, C.B., Tommy and Weldon McCain; six sisters, Rosa Pratt, Marie Elliot, Zada Mae Fikes, Ruby Keech, Wiona Ganc and Geneva Cave. He is survived by his wife, Erna McCain; sons, John (Susan) McCain and David (Robbie) McCain; daughters, Sharon Kay (Billy) Shaw, Barbara (Glenn) Thompson and Constance McCain; fourteen grandchildren and thirty-eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with the family present from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John McCain and Rev. Pat Bullock officiating. Interment will follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery.
