Charles (Charlie) Noubar Erigan, passed away November 29, 2014 in Corpus Christi, Texas after a brief illness. Born November 27, 1944, in Corpus Christi, Texas, he graduated from Ray High School in 1963, attended Del Mar College and then enlisted in the U. S. Marine Reserves. After serving in the military he came back to Corpus Christi and went to work for Central Power and Light until his retirement. Charlie loved fishing and hunting and once had the opportunity to travel to South Africa for a Safari. He served as a board member for the Saltwater Fisheries Enhancement Association (SEA) and regularly participated in the Kid Fish and other programs associated with SEA. He loved listening to talk radio and often would like to talk politics. Charlie had many friends that would lean on him for advice. Charlie always had an ear for whom ever was in need of a good listener. Charlie was very supportive of various organizations that were dear to his heart. He is preceded in death by his parents, Noubar and Thelma Erigan. Charlie is survived by his son, Allen Charles (Nadine) Erigan and granddaughter, Paige of Cleveland, Texas; sister, Armeen Stone of Corpus Christi; nieces, nephews and cousins; especially his two dear friends, Debra Clark and Tim McWha and many friends. He was dearly loved and will be dearly missed more than words can express. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home, 12497 Leopard Street, Corpus Christi, Texas 78410. Funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made to your favorite organization in memory of Charles (Charlie) Erigan.
