Carrell Ross

Carrell D. Ross, age 91 of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away January 30, 2016. Born October 6, 1924 in Robstown, Texas to James Henry Ross and Annie Singleton Ross. He had 1 brother and 1 sister. He married Helen Marie Harms on January 31, 1948. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings and beloved wife, Helen. He is survived by his son, Larry Wayne Ross; 2 grandchildren, Michael (Stacy) Ross and Michele (Philip) Wallace; 7 great grandchildren, Mason, McKenna, Caden, Cody, Chase Ross, Riley and Hunter Wallace and numerous nieces and nephews. He served in the U.S. Army September 13, 1944 - November 21, 1946. He was a WWII Veteran who received 2 Bronze Star Medals, Good Conduct Medal and Army of Occupation Medal (Japan) Victory Ribbon. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 6pm to 7pm at Sawyer George Funeral Home with the Rosary recited at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be Celebrated on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 10:00am at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Corpus Christi, Texas. Internment will follow at Robstown Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made by way of Masses or the Charity of your choice.
