Carol Debellas

Carol passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on April 18, 2023 at home in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 64 .

Carol was born on July 29, 1958 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Gladys and Joe DeBellas. She graduated from Richard King high school in 1976. After graduation she worked at Southwestern Bell for many years. After leaving Southwestern Bell, she moved to the San Diego California area where she worked various jobs and eventually settled back Corpus Christi.

Carol was a big-time animal lover and during her life had several dogs and cats that she treated as her kids. She particularly loved Thanksgiving and Christmas where she got to spend time with her family. She loved star gazing and during her life she made a point to never miss a comet going by or some other astrological event that could be seen with the naked eye.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joe DeBellas, and her mother, Gladys Certain. She is survived by her brother, Joe DeBellas (Nori) and nephew, J.D DeBellas, (Natalie); nieces, Laura Carroll (Collier) and Stephanie Ynfante (Benny) and several grand nieces and grand nephews.

As per Carol‘s wishes, she will be cremated, and her ashes spread at a private family gathering at at later date.
