“Buddy” Allen Jr.

"Buddy" A. C. Allen Jr. took his final ride December 25, 2011, at the age of 69, after a lifetime of wind in his face, friends by his side, and love in his heart. Buddy was preceded in death by his parents Alva Clifford Sr. and Neoma Louise Allen. He is survived by his loving wife Beverly Allen of Robstown Texas; daughters, Becky Allen Calaway (Gary) of Corpus Christi Texas and Brooke Allen of Odem; brother, Elgin "Bub" Allen Sr. of Stockdale Texas; sister, Myrtle Peace (Jim) of Portland Texas; nephews, Doug, James, Richard and Elgin, as well as niece, Susan; grandchildren, Gary Jr., Jennifer, Aaron, Bailey, Brennam, Blaire and Bryden; great grandchild, Cambri. He will be truly missed by all who had the honor of meeting him. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
