Brandi Benavidez

Brandi Renee Benavidez, 27, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014. She was born April 28, 1986 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Brandi graduated from Calallen High School in 2004 and attended Del Mar College. She was a writer and photographer and a member of Annaville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Rene Benavidez, Jr. She is survived by her mother and second father, Mary F. and Ramon “Ray” Munguia of Corpus Christi, Texas; her brothers, Michael (Sylvia) Bullock of Corpus Christi, Texas, Jason (Beverly) Benavidez of Pennsylvania, and Joseph (Katie) Benavidez of Texas; her grandparents, Golden Frances (David) Arnett, Franklin (Nancy) Adams and Rene Benavidez, Sr. all of Corpus Christi, Texas; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Visitation will be from 3 P.M. until 8 P.M. with the family present from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Friday, February 21, 2014 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Annaville Baptist Church with Bro. Robert Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Robstown Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Michael Bullock, Jason Benavidez, David Arnett, Matt Potter, David Colunga and Lucas Garcia.
