Bobbie Hatch

February 15, 1929 — December 28, 2015

Bobbie Lorine Neal Hatch, 86, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015. She was born February 15, 1929 in Castle, Oklahoma to Prentise Bill Neal and Lola Mae Harkins Neal. After graduating from Corpus Christi High School in 1946, Bobbie met George William Hatch, Jr. whom she married in 1947. Early in their marriage she worked for Corn Products Refining Company and later for Citizens State Bank. Her greatest love was her family; she devoted her entire life to her husband, children and grandchildren. She and George enjoyed many years of travel, as well as enjoyable evenings of games, cards and dominoes with old friends. Being an avid fan, her most enjoyable evening was likely watching a Dallas Cowboy game. Bobbie was instrumental in organizing family gatherings and reunions throughout the years. She was also a skilled seamstress and her creative abilities were appreciated by the Southwestern Bell Pioneers Club, Catholic Daughters and St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church as she made doll clothes for charities and enjoyed helping to design and make the religious banners for the church hall. She is preceded in death by her husband, George, of 58 years; her parents, Prentise Bill Neal and Lola Mae Harkins Neal and brothers, Bill and Jerry Lee Neal. She is survived by her six children, George Hatch, III, of Beeville, Texas; Kenneth (Arlette) Hatch of Corpus Christi, Texas; Michael (Diana) Hatch of Denton, Texas; Rose (Doug) Ingraham of Pearland, Texas; Charles Hatch of Corpus Christi, Texas; Deborah (Darwin) Anderson of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer Hatch, Tim (Loriana) Hatch, Ted (Lori) Hatch, Sam (Ashlie) Hatch, Arthur Hatch, Tina (Wayne) Miller, Kelly (Daniel) Rex, Jarrod (Stephanie) Hatch, Melissa (Eli) Gonzalez, James Hatch, Laura Anderson, Eric Anderson and Joe Anderson, as well as twelve great grandchildren. The Rosary will be recited at 10 A.M. Saturday, January 2, 2016 with the Funeral Mass to be celebrated immediately after the Rosary at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Rev. Bill Marquis as celebrant.
