Bobbie Brooks

Bobbie Ann(West) Brooks entered the gates of Heaven, March 4, 2017, with her family beside her in Corpus Christi. Bobbie was blessed with 70 years on this earth. She was born November 13, 1946 in Santa Anna, TX. Bobbie was employed with H & R block for 35 years. Bobbie was the youngest of four children born to James and Elise West. She grew up in Coleman, TX and attended schools there. She resided in Corpus Christi for the last 36 years and was an active member of the Cowboy Fellowship SPC. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elise West; Uncles, Jake and Eddie Whitt. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, James Steven Brooks; two daughters, Shelley(Randy) Haines of Corpus Christi, Michell(John) Atkinson of Odem; one step-daughter, Stefani (T. J.) Wright of Whitehouse, TX; one step-son, Todd (Melissa) Brooks of Mountain Home, TX,. Eight grandchildren, Kimber-Lea Wiggins(Taylor), Camryn Haines, Kyle (Kandyce), Eric, Jordan, and Justin Atkinson, Lexi and Losson Brooks; Three great-grandchildren, Maddie Wiggins, Kealynn and Kacely Atkinson; sister, Judy Garner and two brothers, Jamie(Carolyn) West and Jim(Sam) West; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are grandsons, Kyle, Eric, and Jordan Atkinson, Losson Brooks, and son-in-laws, John Atkinson and Randy Haines. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Hubbard, Gerald Weisner, Frank Brooks, and Justin Atkinson. Visitation will be from 6: 00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, March 10,2017 at Sawyer George Funeral Home in Corpus Christi. Graveside services will be conducted in Coleman, TX. at 2:00pm on Monday, March 13,2017. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Cowboy Fellowship SPC, P. O.
