Billie Rolando

Billie Rolando, 81, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012 in Harlingen Nursing Center. Billie was born on June 27, 1930 in Rosebud, Texas. She moved to Corpus Christi with her mother when she was 6 years old. Billie spent most of her life in sales. Most of her sales career was spent in real estate. Billie is survived by her sister, Jan Cox of Westminster, Colorado; her two sons, Larry (Michelle) Rolando of Spring Hill, Tennessee and Randy (Margaret) Rolando of Harlingen, Texas; three grandchildren, Stephen Rolando, Mandy Rolando and James Rolando; three great grandchildren, Jack Rolando, Evan Rolando and Mason Rolando; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until 8 P.M. with the family present from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Friday, February 10, 2012 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Burial will follow. Those who wish, may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
