Billie Fay O’Neal, 75, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2010 at her home. She was born October 28, 1934 in San Antonio, Texas to Burney B. and Myrtle Fay Billington Riddle. She was a graduate of W. B. Ray High School and a member of River Hills Baptist Church. She had worked as an operator for Bell Telephone, a PBX operator for the Corpus Christi Police Department and she and her husband founded O’Neal Welding. She was a generous contributor to many different charities. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Larry Dean O’Neal and her brother, Robert Riddle. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, W. C. “Dub” O’Neal of Corpus Christi, Texas; her sons, Carry Wayne O’Neal of Orlando, Florida and Barry Lane O’Neal and his wife Beatrice of Corpus Christi, Texas; three grandchildren, Brittany O’Neal and Trinity O’Neal both of Austin, Texas and W. C. O’Neal, II of Corpus Christi, Texas. Visitation with the family present will be from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Brother William Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Robstown Memorial Park.
