Bette Cypert

Bette Jean Dueitt Garrett Cypert went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 28, 2012. She was born September 23, 1936 in Huffsmith, Texas to L.P. and Elsie Dueitt. Bette was devoted to her family, her church and many wonderful friends. Bette was a faithful member of Arlington Heights Church of Christ for many, many years. She loved all her family deeply. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Larry Dueitt and her husband Johnny Garrett. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Jim Cypert; children, Bill (Leigh) Garrett of Lillian, Texas, John (Sherri) Garrett of Austin, Texas, Gaye Lynn (Mark) Hadlock of Corpus Christi, Texas, Cindy (David) Ellis of Malibu, California, John (Tina) Cypert of Manhattan Beach, California, Jill Sochacka of Austin, Texas, Nancy Antill of Houston, Texas; sixteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Monday, July 30, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Seaside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Medina Children's Home. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to New Century Hospice for their loving care of Bette. They also extend their gratitude to the many friends who visited Bette and helped with her care.
