Basilia Betancourt Salinas San Antonio, Texas Our beloved mother Basilia Betancourt Salinas age 80 was called by our Lord, surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 13, 2014. She was hard working and dedicated in everything she did. Her grandchildren adored her. We will forever miss her beautiful smile, caring nature but mostly her quick wit. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maximo and Emilia Betancourt and her brother, Victor M. Betancourt. She will forever be missed by her children, Joe (Alicia) Salinas of McAllen, Rose Gonzalez (Donnie Jackson) of Robstown, Dalia (Freddie) Trevino of Moore, OK., Roland (Debbie) Salinas of Robstown; 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; brother, Maximo (Rosario) Betancourt of Robstown, and four sisters, Emilia Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, Estella Orona of Robstown, Mary (Ruben) Robles of San Antonio, Janie (Ted) Favela of Robstown; numerous nieces and nephews. We would like to extend a special thanks to her sister Mary Robles for all the love and care she gave to our beloved mother. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2014 with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas. Burial will follow at Robstown Memorial Park Cemetery.
