She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to Bill Cody and Margaret Ham. She is survived by her spouse, James Dawson; children, Craig Wells and Kim Smejkal and a grandson, Joseph Smejkal. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel.
