Barbara Bradshaw

Barbara J. Bradshaw, 76, of Taft, Texas, a former resident of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at her home after an illness. She was born April 19, 1935 in San Antonio, Texas to John Daniel Warner and Rudean Buys. She was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was a member and active with the singles group at First United Methodist Church in Corpus Christi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Ellis Bradshaw; her daughter, Elizabeth Bradshaw Schafer and her mother, Rudean Buys. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki B. (Paul) Jamison; her son, Charlie Ellis Bradshaw, Jr.; her son-in-law, Steve Schafer; her grandchildren, Aislynn Campbell, John Jamison, Lauren Elizabeth Schafer and Wyatt Ellis Bradshaw; her great grandchildren, Courtland and Lillian Campbell; her cousins, Margie and Don Huckaby, Sean and Rhonda Curry and their children, James and Hannah and Rick and Hope Whitlock and their children, Alex and Samantha; other family and friends. Memorial services will be conducted at 3 P. M. Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Dean Bearden officiating.
