Born in San Antonio, Texas on June 4th, 1928, Barbara and Jack were married for 37 years before his death in 1981. They were the loves of each other’s lives. Barbara retired after 30 years with Berry Contracting.
Grannie loved all sports, gambling, shoes, the colors yellow and blue, Dr. Pepper, jelly beans, milky ways, but most of all she loved her family. Her favorite place to be was sitting front row and center at any activities that her babies were involved in. She was loved by 5 children, 21 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 19 great great grandchildren and many others that she crossed paths with.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Jack Blundell Sr., daughter Barbara Woods, son in law Terry Hensley, and her parents Leldon Fuller Workman and Mildred Taylor Workman.
She will be truly missed by all of us but we know she is happy to be with her Jack, and those that have gone on before her. Goodbyes are hard, but memories carry you through. She had a great life. One filled with joy and some hardship, but surrounded by her family.
The family would like to thank River Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation staff for their loving care.
