Arno Flora

Arno Flora was born May 31, 1946 to Arno and Margie Flora in Corpus Christi, Texas. Arno loved Nascar, hunting and fishing. Arno worked for CPL for 10 years and then for Lyondellbasell for well over 30 years. He was always known as “Grumpy” from family and friends, but was always willing to give a helping hand at anytime. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margie Flora and his father, Arno Flora. He is survived by his wife, Judy Flora; his son, Keith Flora; his daughter, Keri Dangler; his granddaughter, Trysten Dangler; his sisters, Lawana Richardson and Robyn Haddick; nieces and nephews; as well as his two favorite mutts, Tess and Tinker. His service will be at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery (9974 IH 37 Access Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78410) at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 17, 2015 with full military honors. Please follow us to the VFW Post (12030 Leopard Street, Corpus Christi, Texas 78410) for a celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, we would rather donations be made to Toys for Tots at Christmas in his honor.
