Annie Mae Lauer Byerley, 78, went to be with her Lord on July 11, 2014. She was born December 25, 1935 in Kenedy, TX to Charles and Viola Sheive Lauer. She attended Tuloso-Midway High School and was an active member of the TM Reunion Committee, Classes 47-57, was a secretary in the oil field industry, and was an active member of Country Tabernacle Church in Bluntzer, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Bruce Byerley, her siblings, Richard, Hank and Mary Katherine Lauer. She is survived by her sons, Forrest (Kelly) Byerley of Corpus Christi, TX, John (Kathy) Byerley of Bluntzer, TX and Craig (Cindi) Byerley of Natalia, TX; her brothers, Pete Lauer of Orange Grove, TX, John (Joyce) Lauer of Corpus Christi, TX; her sisters, Minnie Lee Selcer of Corpus Christi, TX, Joyce Ellison of Kerrville, TX and Linda (Mike) Moyer of Sedrowoolley,WA; 12 grandchildren including Billy Dean Byerley, who she raised after Bruce's passing; 21 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for family will be from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2014 at Country Tabernacle Church in Bluntzer and continue for family and friends from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Country Tabernacle Church with Pastors John Byerley and Eddie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore, Texas. Pallbearers will be Jeremy, Daniel and Bill Byerley, Chris Foster, Marcos Gutierrez and Scott Brown. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ben Goodwin, Darren Smith, Jessie Phillips, Josh Blair and Kenneth Crews.
