The scrolling on her tombstone will read Anna Ruth Werner born to her parents, Anna Lucille Forwood Presnall and William Presnall in Sterington Ouachita Parrish, Louisiana, January 2, 1925, – died on March 28, 2016 in Corpus Christi,Texas. The dash on her tombstone represents the ninety one years on this earth that scrolls cannot contain the adventures she had in these few words today. Anna owned and operated a uniform business making many friends as a supplier of uniforms for the Police and Postal employees until 2007. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, William and Marian; her husband, Gordan Werner; brother-in-law, Elton Bullock. Anna Ruth is survived by her daughter, Linda Ann Dail; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren of Powell Point, North Carolina; sister, Mardell Bullock of Phoenix, Arizona; niece, Nelda Herndon of Longview, Texas; nephew, Wilbur Bullock of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and several grand nieces and nephews. Service will be conducted by former Pastor, Brian McDonald and Pastor, Toby Halfacre at 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 1, 2016 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas at 2:30 P.M. April 7, 2016. Anna Ruth loved her church, Glad Tidings Assembly of God where she attended faithfully until her health began to decline.
