Alberta Haile

Alberta Marie Haile, 86, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Monday, March 5, 2012. She was born July 7, 1925 in Abilene, Texas to Alvin and Opal May Slaughter Heffernan. She owned her own business making custom drapes and was a member of Annaville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; three grandchildren, Jeffery Haile, LeAnne Haile and Savannah Smith; two sisters, Mary Lou Louis and Margie Willis. She is survived by three sons, Ronnie L. (Charlotte) Haile of New Braunfels, Texas, David N. Haile of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Rickey H. (Sherryl) Haile of Corpus Christi, Texas; one daughter, Wynon A. (Charles) Rogers of Midland, Texas; two sisters, Lois Oliver and Linda Gail Long both of Abilene, Texas; two brothers, Alvin Heffernan, Jr. of Abilene, Texas and Oran Heffernan of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Stacey (Byron) Hooper, Jena (Arnulfo) Gonzalez, Kelli (Todd) Warren, Troy (Amber) Robertson, Taylor Rogers, Corey (Ashlie) Jones, Kip Jones and Heather Haile; 11 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family present will be from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Calallen Baptist Church with Bro. Jack Willoughby officiating. Burial will follow in Robstown Memorial Park.
