CORPUS CHRISTI

Ada Beatrice Bryan (Knox), 82, of Corpus Christi, TX, passed away on March 6, 2025. She was born in Ramondville, TX on October 15, 1942 to Buel Bentley Knox and Maggie Gertrude Knox (Denmark). She attended high school in Bertram, TX. Beatrice first met her husband Aubrey Bryan while attending business college in Corpus Christi, TX. They were married on October 6, 1962.

Bea loved watching seabirds at the Nueces River along the Port of Corpus Christi Corridor. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing, much of which she learned from her Mom growing up on the family farm in Bertram, Texas. She was selfless and definitely had a passion for helping and encouraging others any way she could, especially to help them find their way to Heaven. She would give the shirt off her back to help someone and be content and happy doing so. She was a prayer warrior for many. Through her calm, sweet presence in all our lives, she was like an ordinary angel here on earth doing extraordinary things.

She was a real-estate agent and during the last 25 years she was the office manager for the Aubrey E. Bryan Insurance Agency and was currently retired.  She was a member of the Weber Road Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents Buel and Maggie Knox (Denmark), her mother-in-law and father-in-law Paul Bryan and Bessie Bryan (Lohman), her sister Allene Knox, Emma Acuff (Knox), brother-in-law Joe Acuff, her brother Bentley Knox, brother-in-law Donald Bryan, brother-in-law Sam Justice, great grandson Cid Bryan.
