Orlando Perez

Orlando Ivan Perez was born November 23, 1957 in McAllen, Texas to Erasmo and Idolina Perez. He passed into eternity on February 3, 2023 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was 65 years of age.

He is preceded by his mother, Idolina and father, Erasmo.

Orlando is survived by his wife, Emma; daughters, Victoria Perez, Deandrea Perez , Jessica Perez  Blanco(Ralph) and Crystal Perez; his grandsons, Isaac Blanco,  Alex Blanco, Zachary Blanco and Gaige Aguinaga; sisters, Azalea Villerreal(Roel) and Velma Cruz; brother, Heron Perez(Yolanda); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Despite humble beginnings, Orlando leveraged his strong work ethic to build his legacy. His dedication to being a provider for his family drove him to being self-sufficient. This ambition was best displayed during his career progression; a cotton gin employee to a respected leader at AEP. Over the course of his life, he was best described as an honorable and considerate man who touched the lives of all who knew him.

His favorite pastime was spending time outdoors with his family and his dog, Chip!

A Rosary will be recited at 1:30pm on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Service at 2pm.
