Jacob Rector

Jacob Dale Rector age 42, passed away on December 1, 2021. Jacob was a native of Ingleside, TX graduated from Ingleside High School in 1998. Jacob was proud of being a veteran of the United States Navy. He will always be remembered for his kind heart, spirited laugh, and welcoming smile. Jacob enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, fishing, and being outdoors.

He is survived by his son Jackson Dale Rector and daughter Kendyl Rector of Sugarland, TX. His mother Gina Rector of Corpus Christi, TX. Father Rodger Dale Rector and Step-Mother Becky Rector of Ingleside, TX. His sister Elisa (Corey) Gilp. Step sisters Brandy McCuiston and Stephanie Ullman. Paternal grandmother Doris Rector. Step maternal grandparents Calvin and Joann Laird. And nieces and nephews.

Jacob loved fiercely and deeply and we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace surrounded by light.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday January 19, 2022 at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00pm. A Reflection Service will be held at 2:15pm the same day at Sawyer-George funeral home 12497 Leopard St. Corpus Christi, TX 78410.
